Reported By: Michael Imadonmwinyi “Wisdom entails the practicality of intelligence”, these were the words of Rev. Fr. Enoch Usifo in his homily on the feast day of the Seminary on the 15th of November 2018. In it he stated that wisdom is a gift from God and that there is need to make a match between intelligence and wisdom. He eulogized St Albert as a man of wisdom and commented that he was able to combine both wisdom and intelligence and did not seek reward as the ultimate motivation to duty and that when reward is the only motivation for our actions, we lose credibility. He also noted that the combination of wisdom and intelligence comes into play with the adherence to the mandate of bringing the stray back to Christ. In conclusion he remarked that the capacity to marry intelligence with wisdom is an inner grace and that the we require wisdom to put intelligence into practice
