St. Albert the Great Seminary hosted the 2022 Interaction between Rectors of Seminaries in the region and Vocation Directors of subscribing Dioceses, the first of its kind in her history. The event that lasted 3 days opened with a Mass celebrated by His Lordship, Most Rev Peter Odetoyinbo, the Catholic Bishop of Abeokuta Diocese.
The Bishop in his homily affirmed his support and appreciation to the participants for all they do for the Church in Nigeria through their respective offices. He therefore charged them to have courage in taking necessary decisions. The Rector, Very Rev Fr. Anselm Ekhelar, welcomed the participants and thanked the Bishop for always responding with promptness whenever matters concerning formation are brought to his attention.
The closing Mass was celebrated by Very Rev Fr. Matthew Ihensekhen, the Rector of All Saints Major Seminary, Uhiele, Ekpoma, Edo State who on behalf of the participants expressed his gratitude to SAGS community for the warm welcome and hospitality. He encouraged the Seminarians to be real and be good.
