It was a day worth remembering in the life of the Seminary when two of our formators, Very Rev. Frs. Anselm Ekhelar, the Rector of the Seminary and John Nwanze, the Dean of Studies, celebrated God's faithfulness in their lives with the grace of clocking thirty years as priests. Rev Fr. Francis Fabidun in his welcome speech at a house dinner to mark the event, enjoined the celebrants to continue being fathers to the community. “The experiences you have gathered over the years cannot be measured and this fact is obvious in the way you are leading us in the community”, said Fr Francis Fabidun. In response, Very Rev Fr. John Nwanze expressed unalloyed gratitude on behalf of the Rector and himself, and appealed to seminarians to make sure they leave positive legacies behind wherever they find themselves. On his part, the Rector, Very Rev Fr. Anselm Ekhelar, particularly stressed the need to love and serve God who alone can help us, especially in our vocation. The event was graced with different presentations and gifts from seminarians.
