NEWLY ORDAINED PRIESTS

The greatest joy of a seminarian, is to be ordained a priest at the end of his seminary training and the ordination of priests is a momentous event in the Catholic Church. Since the commencement of the Seminary, she has been richly blessed with 26 priests that cut across the three ecclesiastical provinces of Lagos, Benin and Ibadan.
We hereby present the priests in the order of ordination: Ilorin Diocese – Frs. Amos Audu and Kenneth Lan (August 12, 2023); Lagos Archdiocese - Frs. Benedict Anike and Peter Ulasi (September 21, 2023); Abeokuta Diocese – Fr. Matthew Fasinu (November 12, 2023); Auchi Diocese - Fr. Joseph Aferuan (November 12, 2023); Warri Diocese - Frs. Ophoughori Emmanuel, Ijebu Liberty and Ovie James (June 8, 2024); Abeokuta Diocese – Frs. Napoleon Akhabue and Christian Umeh (July 20, 2024); Ibadan Archdiocese - Frs. Joseph Adeniyi and Anthony Fasakin (August 15, 2024); Benin City Archdiocese - Frs. John Egbor, Michael Okpo, Ogude Emmanuel and Osazee Isaiah (August 17, 2024); Issele-Uku Diocese - Frs.
