FRIENDLY MATCHES BETWEEN THE SEMINARIANS AND THE YOUTHS OF THE CATHOLIC OF ABEOKUTA

On the sunny day of the 20th April, 2024, the ground of Sacred Heart College, Oke-Ilewo Abeokuta welcomed the contingent of the Seminary’s Football and the Volleyball Teams in a friendly match with the Catholic Youths of the Diocese of Abeokuta in both games.
The matches ended in favour of the Seminary Teams as they defeated their opponents on the score line of 5:0 in football and 3:0 in volleyball. Goals from Messers Anyebe Emmanuel, Omoti Isidor (2), Apeh Benedict and Fipiade Joshua sealed the win for the Football Team.
In attendance were two of our Formators, Rev. Fr. Francis Fabidun; the Sport Director of the Seminary and Rev. Fr. Francis Mekako. Also present were Very Rev. Fr. Eric Olatunji, the Dean of Ibara Deanery, Rev. Fr. Peter Adigun; the Youth Chaplain of the Diocese of Abeokuta and Rev. Fr. Patrick Oke, the Principal of Sacred Heart Catholic College.
