SAGS CELEBRATES THREE OF HER OWN

On the 30th November, 2022, the Seminary Community celebrated three of her own; Rev. Frs. Peter Egbe, Evaristus Igwe-Alufo, CM and Anthony Aderibigbe, with the first two celebrating the Twenty-Fifth Priestly Ordination Anniversary and the latter celebrating his fiftieth birthday. The celebration started with the Holy Mass at 10am with Fr. Evaristus Igwe-Alufo as the chief celebrant and Fr. Paul Amenaghawon as the homilist. During the homily, he urged them to model their lives in line with that of St. Paul, they are to continue preaching the Gospel faithfully, celebrate the sacraments, serve the people and be apostles to the people of God.
The second part of the celebration began after the Mass. In his opening remarks, Fr. John Nwanze urged all to join the priests in celebrating the gift of the sacred priesthood and to give thanks to God for them. The SAGS' Band, Drama Group, Year 7 Seminarians amongst others gave beautiful renditions. Indeed the day was festive and colorful.
